Dry Needling
A skilled intervention using a thin filiform needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate underlying myofascial trigger points, muscular, and connective tissues to manage neuromusculoskeletal pain and improve movement in daily tasks.
Improved Motion and Strength
Our team is trained in providing interventions focused on improved mobility and strength to increase a patient's ability to engage in environments to his/her maximum potential.
Splinting & Taping
We fabricate custom splints following post-operative and post-injury scenarios. Applications are focused on individual needs. Taping techniques can provide stability and decreased pain during functional activities. Taping may also benefit those experiencing increased swelling from injury or following surgery.
Adria Hawthorne, MSOT, OTR
Adria, founder of Innovation Therapy, received her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. She is a member of the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and is an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
She and her husband, Jeremy, were raised in the Washington community and have made it their home. They have two young boys.
Adria is passionate about providing comprehensive, quality care to her patients and their families.
